If you see this Magical Ark rockin', don't come a' knockin'
Did anyone else hear Captain Noah -- yes, that Captain Noah -- on with Preston and Steve* this morning?
Well, you missed a classic. Consider this an all-points bulletin for a recording of the interview -- if you're a Philly-area kid who grew up sending your pictures to Dear Old Captain Noah (send them right away, do not delay!) -- you need to get with this, though it may scar you for life.
Remember how, on the Magical Ark, the Captain would finish making a craft and then the garbage-eating hand puppet would come up and take away all the trash and paper scraps? Well, live on the radio this morning, the Captain said it was Mrs. Noah under the table working that puppet. And sometimes -- according to the Captain -- things would get a little boring under there, so Mrs. Noah would while away the time, uh, "singing a rainbow" on the Captain's mizzen mast. To hear him tell it, the ol' Captain had trouble concentrating on those crepe-paper flowers.
This is either the greatest thing I've ever heard or the single most psychologically damaging thing ever. Either way, Mrs. Noah is my new hero.
UPDATE: Just had an email from Preston, who says a podcast of the interview should be up by this afternoon, at wmmr.com or iTunes.
* Hell no I don't listen to Preston and Steve, but my girl called this morning and made me turn it on. It was worth it.

My faith in humanity has been restored.

Cap't Noah....nah. Ms Judy had it all over over good captain. Her skill at pretending to care about local toddlers was masterful. I try to bring that same talent to the workplace....

Hahahahahaha that is the funniest stuff I've heard in a while! What's even funnier, is that me and my friend Keith were talking about Captain Noah only a day before he appeared on the radio!(talk about coincidental timing)
I thought he didn't like to make public appearances anymore, because "nobody wants to see a has-been"?(his words) I guess he changed that? Or maybe he wanted to remind people that he is still alive and kicking? I don't know, but that radio interview was hilarious.
